DRM Golf Season ending

Bye bye 2006 and hello 2007. Couldn't beleive its been over a year since the first DRM tournament started. Its been a very successful year with plenty of drama, nail biting actions and funny moments. 2006 had produced several champions, some deserve it but some were just pure luck .. hahahha (jangan marah) .. but then again we always need a bit of luck in golf. With the DRM Tour finale of the Battle of the bridges (The battle of champions and wannabe champions), it was evidance that LOTP deserve the title of "The Champion". But 2006 also shows how some players who played really well throughout the year but couldn't get their hands on any of the big monthly medal trophies. These are the likes of Sam the Wizard, Twister and Real Deal. I think their names should be engraved on that trophy ... but then again, luck wasn't on their side. Better luck next time dudes.
Below are some Highlites and Lowlites of the 2006 season:

Highlites:
+ Serial, The coach and the Recruit ...known as underdogs, kicked all the DRM golfers ass at the Augusta of Brunei (Jerudong) during the monthly medals.
+ The Freak freakish performance with top 5 finish on most DRM Tournaments. Pure skill or pure luck ... i dont know!.
+ LOTP amazing tricks with his magic stick. I'm still amaze with that dude's ability with the putter.
+ DRM Golf demolishing HMM winning streak.
+ Team DRM Europe winning the DRM Ryder Cup.

Lowlites:
- The Loan Shark missing/lost/gone/entah ke mana tia swing. What happen dude? This is still a mistery, the swing just vanished everytime there's a DRM Tournament. Hope it'll be better in 2007.
- Smiley's magnetic powers of attracting accidents to himself. Eg. Ball to head incident and Leg trap between buggies. Thankfully smiley survived ... but a bit more caution into his game.
Serial's embarrassing performace in BOTB.
- DRM Golf lost to SCM thanks to a miss 20cm putt by Mad Cat Meo.
- Gold Tee and Real Deal not performing as what the punters predicted. “Sanang tu …” Sanang tia karang!!

So whats up for 2007? Who will be the Champ? will the likes of Smiley, Sam the Wizard, Fairway Artist & real deal have their names engrave on any trophy? Only time will tell. But one thing is sure, the title race will tight ... so be prepared! Some players are already preparing for the 2007 season, e.g. the likes of Gold Buaya and Smiley with new sponsors Mizuno, Freak considering of buying new weapons of mass destruction and rookie Your Highness working hard on the range with new Hi-bore.
