Panaga Monthly Medal Review

As you all know by now, LOTP was announced the winner … again for the 3rd time. Not much surprise there!
But I think the Panaga Monthly medal was best remembered for not on LOTP’s win but on the perfect weather conditions, mad cat’s heart condition, performance of the “Darkhorse” & “DRMgolf Virgins” and the annoying flies buzzing around.
Yeah yeah yeah bla bla blah …LOTP wins with magic putter. How often do we read about this! But I have to admit, that putter of his is truly magical.
You can ask the “recruit” .. He’s still in shock after witnessing LOTP’s power. On a different note, that day at Panaga created some dramatic moments. Especially when we saw Serial carrying 2 bags .. One belonging to Mad Cat and we were all wondering where Mad Cat was. We were told that he had to rush to Panaga Hospital due to some chest pains. When we contacted Panaga hospital, we were told that Mad Cat was ok and he was only suffering from a minor heart disorder (Golfnut thinks its his broken heart due to CT Nurhaliza recent wedding).
Another memorable moment was the first appearance of our DRM Virgins (“Your Highness” & “D Tripod). They played quite well especially under the guidance of the “Coach”. Well done virgins!! Hehe.
Also not to forget was the performance of the Darkhorses. “Freak” gave a strong warning to all the other golfers to be aware of these two golfers before the tournament, saying that their performance had peaked dramatically over the last few months. But it was not all smooth sailing for one of the darkhorse (Smiley). He blew it in the last 2 holes with score of 9 for hole 17 and 18. LOTP comments on Smiley’s performance “Cemana ko boleh hancur main ani .. Driver mu jauh, 8 iron mu sanang-sanang sampai 150 m … cuba ko swing saja tarus, jangantah kan control .. Ok tu”. Smiley’s answer “Entah ah, psycho ku wah meliat kita putting dari bunker atu”. Serial on the other hand was playing one of his best games to date with good recovery shots and good pars all around. What a month for serial, I think for the last 3 weeks he’s been playing like a single handicaper (Take note DRMgolf BOD .. Chop Chop!!!).
Overall, last Saturday’s monthly medal was a good one. Everyone played well and had fun … cant wait for the next one.
