Things you dont know ....

This is Golfnut latest series of articles. It all about the things that most of us don’t know about some of our drm golf players.
This week we’ll put Kamal “Gold Tee Maniac” under the microscope. We all know about GT Maniac’s power drive, tour wins, how he likes to challenge us playing from the Gold Tee at Eastwood, his financial gain in the stock market, etc etc. But do you know that …..
Before Joining DRM, he use to live in the US during his university years. To be exact in the windy city of Chicago .. The land of Michael Jordan, the Bulls and Oprah Winfrey. Before golf, GT Maniac was all into the American Sports. GT Maniac: “Aku dulu kat university main basketball. Tangan aku habis luka, pasal kat US diorang tu kalau nak steal bola brutal sikit”. When ask if he has any opportunity watching the Chicago Bulls play, GT answered “Ada lah a few times. Aku pernah duduk kat belakang hoop tu, so kalau orang free throw, kami cuba distract pakai balloon”. He also said that he save a lot of his monthly allowance so that he could buy the Chicago Bulls jersey of his favourite player ..No. 7 Tony Kukoc. When ask about other stuff he did in Chicago, he said “Since liat basketball tu mahal, aku sometimes liat juga NFL, tengok Chicago Bears. Best juga lah. Sometimes kalau NFL tak ada aku tengok orang main ice hockey. Petang-petang selapas sekolah tu, kami main Street Hockey pakai rollerblade. Dari aku main hockey lah aku pandai swing golf club. Tapi pada musim sejuk, saya minat tengok orang figure skating. Best le figure skating tu, bukan senang diorang buat triple jump spin tu.” He continues and said “kalau malam saya suka pergi main jackpot. Best gila le. Sampai masa ni aku boleh d katakan expert lah kalau main jackpot ni. Baik nasib tak ada Fadle Freak dulu sama aku dulu .. Kalau tidak habis duit dia main jackpot saja”.
Very interesting stuff there from the GT Maniac. So know we know.
Also GT Maniac will be celebrating his birthday tomorrow .. Happy Birthday GT.
